Our pool started losing water at approximately 3/4 inch per day. Atlantic Pool Leak Detection was recommended by the... company that I use for opening and closing our pool, as well as other reviews on the internet. I contacted Randy and was able to setup a date fairly quickly.One of the things that I liked about our interaction was that Randy had me do some tests prior to his coming out to try and narrow the issue. He asked all the right questions and put me at ease that he would be able to find the problem.They showed up on time on the day we had scheduled and immediately began testing the lines and the system.Eventually, Randy had to dive to the pool drain, where he discovered the leak and applied an epoxy patch.Randy went above and beyond with his thorough work detecting and fixing my leak. He provided good feedback on his analysis of the pool system. It’s been a week and so far no issues.He also offered suggestions for more permanent solutions for dealing with the drain issue. It was the line to the Polaris robot and instead of having... someone repair the line ( which would require pulling up the stone by the pool and costing huge amt $$$$) he suggested capping the return Polaris line to the pool and instead purchase a new cordless robot that has a quick charge and you can use an app on my cell to run it! I was very skeptical about the odds of being able to identify the source of a slow plumbing leak buried beneath several... feet of compacted gravel and concrete. But Randy and his son did exactly that. They arrived exactly on time, got right to work, found the leak quickly, charged the minimum quoted fee, and left with a red x to mark the spot. On top of that, referred me to someone who was able to perform the repair at a reasonable price. And by the way, the red x was dead on! Randy was extremely professional throughout, including offering some diagnostic steps via email at no charge. Ultimately, these were unsuccessful and we decided he needed to come out. He came with his son and spent several hours and found the leak under the pool deck and determined which line it was in.He marked the deck for us so we could repair it in the spring.We hired a new pool management company that also does leak repair work. Due to mild weather they decided to do the repair early. When they opened the deck they found the leak where Randy had marked.Randy was extremely professional and does excellent work. Our pool started to leak soon after opening this season. At least 1 inch daily. Called a diving service who tried... trouble shooting over phone--nothing worked so they sent a diver. He was at our house about 40 minutes total and found one liner leak---Yippee. Not so fast...pool continued to leak at same rate. Multiple text messages----every service is uber busy this time of year----and decided to try a different company. Randy was suggested by another company that was booked SOLID. He too was booked but later called with a cnx in my area. After questions Randy felt our problem probably not in lines but rather in the liner and he re-dove the pool. Almost 2 hrs later and 5 leak repairs PLUS he checked out the skimmer and pump lines (no problems there). Pool hasnt leaked a drop since and that over a week ago!! Yes he is pricey but it was well worth it. What wasnt worth it was money paid to a service who failed to locate all the problems in our liner----and all they did was dive. Randy and his assistant were on time, professional and focused on the job. I highly recommend them. Thanx Randy!read more

Right before the holiday I noticed a considerable decrease in my water level. I was losing over 7.5 inches of water... over 24 hours and was concerned I might have a leak. In attempt to protect the liner from becoming exposed I was doing my best to keep the water at skimmer level but was running water for several hours everyday and knew this was not practical. Our pool service company recommended Randy to me, telling me Randy is the best out there. But unlucky for me, Randy is fully booked 3 to 4 weeks out. I was worried as our pool is leaking slowly each minute in waiting. Randy contacted me the same day, asked about my situation, and start to remote diagnose the problem.He told me how to do some DIY to figure out where exactly leak is to save money, and told me how to stop the leak after he figure out source of the leak remotely.
